How to qualify for a Mortgage

Value of Subject Property

Mortgage loans are determined by the property value. This with the combination of income and credit qualification, generally determines your Loan to Value Ratio (LTV). Determining your LTV, will determine your Purchase Qualification Price and Mortgage Loan Amount.

Income Qualification For Mortgage

Your income helps you qualify for a mortgage loan. Generally 2 years of income is needed whether it's W2, 1099 or Business Income.

Credit Qualification For Mortgage

Mortgage loans are also determined by your credit score, your payment history and tradelines. Most of all it determines your debts and liabilities. In combination with qualified income, this will determine your debt to income ratio or DTI.
